About UpdateVerdict
Clear provenance, explicit scope and visible uncertainty.
What this site is
UpdateVerdict is an independent evidence directory for Windows 11 update problems: what changed, who it affects, what the official source says, and whether a resolution exists for a stated scope. It is maintained by a single maintainer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft.
How records are produced
Every issue record traces to a public Microsoft source — the release-health tables and the KB articles they name. Collection runs fetch those pages under a registered source policy, snapshot what was seen, and turn differences into review candidates; a person approves or rejects each candidate before any page changes. Records state their own limits: scopes Microsoft does not constrain are carried as unknown, never widened.
Response expectations
Corrections submitted through the corrections page are reviewed in batches, normally within two weeks; there is no support SLA and no individual troubleshooting. General questions can use the contact page.
What this site does not do
No automatic rollback, no security-disable actions, no universal safety score, and no claim that a missing report means an update is safe.
